I hold a Bachelor of Arts in both Studio Art with a concentration in Photography, as well as Bachelor of Arts in Art History. My artistic eye and self-expression through art and writing has been woven throughout my life and is the grounding point for all of the holistic practices I am offering now. My personal artwork reflects her meditations with nature and interweaving my inner world with the natural world. I enjoy making my own paints and dyes from herbs and rocks. In addition to my own art, I am a content creator, artist, and writer for individuals and brands in the holistic wellness and mental health realms.
I chose a path to become a holistic wellness practitioner for those experiencing physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances because I have seen that there is nothing more profound than healing and nourishing yourself from the root of the issues you may be facing. I healed myself from her own severe illness which manifested from a mix of emotional trauma and physical imbalances in 2015 with the support and guidance of natural medicine practitioners, medicinal herbs, mindfulness practices, a deep dive into different cultures and their spiritual wisdom, and a devotion to self-compassion and living an intentional life.
After a trip to Nepal in 2019, I chose to attend the California College of Ayurveda and furthered herbalism tudies by moving to Nevada City, California to study Clinical Ayurvedic theory and become a certified Herbalist. I am a lover of learning and completed a Permaculture Design certification and Regenerative Herbalism certification in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. I then moved to Boulder, Colorado where I taught classes and worked as a certified herbalist in an apothecary supporting individuals with a variety of needs through my expertise. I also worked for a women-owned permaculture design company where I was able to fully apply my skills to listen deeply to the seasonal rhythms, grow edible and herbal gardens, and make medicine through wild-crafting.
Since moving back to Asheville, North Carolina, I have opened up my own online apothecary, Devotion Herbals.
In 2025, I began my journey to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
I am excited to interweave my paths, ancestral knowing, and guide others back to themselves.
