Steep into a story woven with plant wisdom this winter in a circle of likeminded women. These circles are intentionally crafted to support a deeper connection to the living world around us that is asking us to pay attention.

Over the last seven months, I have been intentionally cultivating and leading circles in Asheville from my own lived experience in herbalism, regenerative land tending, art history, creative writing, and storytelling. Each circle’s story and inspiration has arisen from deep listening to the world around me.I believe that true healing begins in reciprocal relationship with ourselves, with another, and with the natural realm.

The circle rhythm is as follows: feel yourself in the here and now by listening to your surroundings gently (sometimes the body is not safe to “drop into” at any given moment, this is welcome here), steep into an intentionally chosen story that I will tell, gentle guide into spacious writing time, sharing circle - optional, or you may simply listen, intentional space for speaking and weaving together our paths past, present, and future.

Each story may resonate with your inner or outer world - it may find you with many words to write, or it may leave you with questions - both are welcome here. Meaning-making arises through your own lived experience. I ask that you attend with curiosity and care for yourself and one another.

For the winter season, we are going virtual so you can join from the comfort and quiet of your home with your journal, a cup of tea, and write by candlelight.

No writing experience required. All forms of creative expression are welcome here - though this is a “writing” circle - drawing and expressing through symbolism is always welcome - come as you are wishing to express. All ages welcome - women from ages early 20s to late 70s have joined this space.

Register in one circle, or two, or three, or all! Return to this space when it truly calls to you. Registration for each circle is open now.

❋ WHAT TO EXPECT

We will spend two hours together with guided writing invitations, reflection, conversation, and spacious time to write and share.

Bring a journal, something to write with, and perhaps a warm cup of tea and a candle. I encourage you to create a comfortable, quiet space where you can be present for our time together.

You do not need to prepare anything beforehand.

❋ JOINING THE CIRCLE

$25 per circle if registering one at time.

$80 for all four at once

Choose an amount within the sliding scale that feels accessible and sustainable for you. Contributions at the higher end help support lower-cost and gifted spaces for other women. Please make sure you have access to Zoom.

Each gathering stands on its own. You are welcome to come once when a theme calls to you or return month after month.

If all the women of the world recorded their dreams for a single week and laid them all end to end, we would recover the last million years of women's hymns and chants and dances, all of women's art and stories, and medicines, all of women's lost histories.
